Altimance, new IT services center
The new Altimance IT services center will occupy space in the Rives Créatives digital technology park, with operations set to begin in September.
Hauts-de-France succeeded in attracting the British company despite competition from rival countries in Eastern Europe. In addition to a €15 million investment from Rigby Group, Altimance will receive €1.5 million in government support, divided evenly between the Hauts-de-France Region and Greater Valenciennes, as well as employee training assistance.
Three winning assets
Europe’s biggest independent IT services business chose the Valenciennes region for three key reasons:
– A vibrant digital ecosystem with some 100 IT companies doing business in the area
– Around 30 digital training programs in a range of areas
– Cutting-edge office space made available by Group D’s willingness to invest upfront in a build-to-rent project
Over the next three years, Altimance expects to fill the new space with as many as 250 engineers and technicians, primarily to staff its user help desk.
Rigby Group

In France, the company’s SCC subsidiary employs a workforce of 2,400 spread over 23 sites.
