After developing production sites in Asia (Japan, China, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia) and the United States (Los Angeles), the Japanese noodle soup company Takara Foods has decided to target the European market. The company ultimately chose the Hauts-de-France Region (Amblainville, Oise) over Ile-de-France to set up the brand’s first European production site. Takara Foods is investing €2.6 million in Hauts-de-France. For this first location, the company is investing €2.6 million. If the company reaches its growth objectives, the factory could ultimately employ 30-50 employees, depending on market trends.
