American ice cream producer, Häagens-Dazs, expands its site near Arras with a new production line
The ice cream sector recorded a 10% growth in turnover in 2020, a year marked by Covid and lockdowns.
With ice cream consumption booming, the Häagen-Dazs plant at Tilloy-lès-Mofflaines has decided to expand its 1,100m2 site to launch a new production line next summer. The extension will create forty new jobs.
The plant currently produces almost 80 million litres of ice cream per year and has 480 employees.
Häagen-Dazs and Arras, a 30-year history
Next year the Häagen-Dazs plant, built in Tilloy-lès-Mofflaines in the early 1990s, will celebrate 30 years in Hauts-de-France.

Nord France invest was involved in financial engineering for the investment, which is backed by the Region and Arras Urban Community.
