New warehouse and distribution center
Belgium’s 2XL is opening its fourth warehouse at the Delta 3 multimodal platform in Dourges. With maximum capacity of 60,000 pallets, the unit will handle storage, order preparation and transport for 2XL customers, creating 60 jobs.
Why Hauts-de-France?
The region is #3 in France for logistics and transport, with some 60,000 jobs in the industry. And for 2XL, its excellent infrastructure and location were unbeatable arguments:
- Ideally positioned between the United Kingdom and the Benelux
- Rail and waterway connections bringing markets in Northern Europe and southern France closer
- Multimodal solutions: the 300-hectare Delta 3 site features 330,000 sq m of cutting-edge warehouse facilities
- Major companies already operate in Northern France, offering scope for new synergies
