The mission of the agency

Who is Nord France Invest?

Nord France Invest is the economic development agency for the Hauts-de-France region. The agency's mission is to facilitate the development of companies in the region. Our objective is twofold:
  • To create and maintain jobs in the region
  • Develop the region's influence through its economic dynamism.

What territory does NFI cover?

Nord France Invest operates across the entire Hauts-de-France Region, from just outside Paris to the Belgian border.

What is the Hauts-de-France Region?

The Hauts-de-France region was born of the 2016 merger of the former Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardie regions. It stretches from the far north of France to the gateway to the Paris region.

Whith whom does NFI work?

Nord France Invest brings together the "Invest in Hauts-de-France" network, a group of local structures working to promote the attractiveness of the region. The agency works closely with a number of key partners, including the Hauts-de-France Region, Business France, government agencies, competitiveness clusters, sites of excellence and, more broadly, the entire regional economic ecosystem. What is the cost of the NFI support?

The agency is funded by the Hauts-de-France Region and the Hauts-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Our international business support services are therefore at zero cost to companies.

Why are Nord France Invest’s service free of charge ?

In fact, you don't have to pay for our services - they've already been paid for. Our funders allocate an annual subsidy of €2.9M to Nord France Invest to enable the agency to carry out its mission as effectively as possible. The Haut-de-France Region and the Hauts-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry have a real policy of attractiveness. Our services are therefore not entirely free, but you benefit from them free of charge.

Our head office is at the heart of Lille, opposite the Lille Europe international train station, in the CCI Hauts-de-France building. Our regional office is in Amiens, at the heart of the city on rue Lamarck.
